Editing in Photoshop

I will now go on and develop my first set of photographs, deciding which ones I would like to use and manipulated them to look more professional and to see whether or not they are suitable for my music magazine cover.

This is my first attempt at photoshopping my images:

I have edited the background, forehead, lips and hair of this photograph. The lips do not look real enough, I will edit this image again and show the outcome. I wanted the model to have glitter combined in her make up to add to the rough kind of style, but this attempt wasn't very good. The gold glitter and red outfit kind of clash. In my next photoshoot with this model I will use specific clothing and specific make up colours in order to complete the look I wanted in the first place.

Second Edited Photograph:
I have chosen this photograph because I like the models pose, however looking closer at the image there are a lot of changes that needed to be made. I have edited the forehead to get rid the shine and baby hair, with the 'Clone Tool', although I don't think it looks very good. I need to carry on and edit around the eyes.

I have put a red square around the part of the image which I have photoshopped using the 'Clone Tool' which helps to reduce blemishes and unwanted shine from the image. I'm not sure whether I like this or not but it is definatley an improvement in comparison to the other eye, which is visible in this image. It looks dirty from excess make-up, which I need to edit.
